Welcome to EmployEnjoy!
This is a digital technology-based career coaching model prepared for Instructional Managment & Technology (EME 6316) at University of West Florida, (Spring 2013). EmployEnjoy is a hypothetical non-profit company and the "career coaches" are fictitious.
This model is designed to show how easy, thorough, and effective career coaching can be with the successful integration of digital technology. Please browse the pages and links. The designers, Holley Langille and Marlene East, are here to guide you through the site! We hope you learn from our model and we ask that you take a few moments to give us feedback.

Our Vision
The vision of EmployEnjoy is to be a progressive leader in the provision of career discovery assistance and to improve the way career discovery guidance is delivered worldwide.
EmployEnjoy Mission
The mission of EmployEnjoy is to encourage the development of happy, productive, and educated people worldwide, through the provision of a digitally integrated online coaching career discovery model with a strong research foundation.
Core Values
EmployEnjoy values a rich humanistic tradition. We are committed to ethics, equity, integrity, and respect for the individual, believing that human beings, when passionate about their careers, are the most valuable resource for solving the world's problems.
EmployEnjoy Focus on Ethics and Equity:
Ethics in Career Coaching
In the EmployEnjoy model, the career coaches have graduate degrees and many are licensed counselors. This is a coaching, not a counseling based model, primarily due to ethical concerns. To perform online counseling across state lines, providers may be required to be licensed in the states in which clients reside. Coaching is not as regulated as mental health counseling by licensure requirements. Coaching sessions by EmployEnjoy coaches are limited strictly to career assessment, career exploration, self-esteem building, and job skills. If a coach determines a client to be in need of mental health services, the coach will refer the client to an appropriate licensed mental health professional. EmployEnjoy coaches adhere to ethical guidelines.
Equity in EmployEnjoy Model
The EmployEnjoy model aims to avoid stereotypes and marginalization. Our materials, photographs, and multimedia selections are carefully screened to promote equity and fairness.
In addition, EmployEnjoy coaches are trained in consulting with clients who have disabilities. Every effort is made to make assessments and digital tools accessible to clients. For example, coaches are educated in the use of screen readers and audio amplification. For people who do not have computers, EmployEnjoy modules are accessible via computers in public libraries and internet cafes. In addition, many high school guidance departments and universities have purchased a corporate level EmployEnjoy membership that makes the EmployEnjoy service available to their students. EmployEnjoy coaches are trained in the following digital tools that are found on the National Career Development Association website.

Career Opportunities Punk Recording
|
"Career Opportunities" is a 1977 song by The Clash, a British punk band. The song attacks the political and economic situation in England at the time, citing the lack of jobs available, particularly to youth, and the dreariness and lack of appeal of those that were available. EmployEnjoy aims to enhance a brighter outlook for people entering the job market!
